Westpac Women’s League Tag Player Of The Year
South Perth Lions – Claire Smith

A flashing playmaker, who can play out of dummy half or at first reciever, alot of the Lions dominance this year has come off her ability to stop defences in their tracks, which allows the speedsters out wide to do their magic. A great “tagger” she is vocal, fit and a great leader for the Lions.

ATLAS Third Grade Player Of The Year
Willagee Bears – Joshua Iongi

A try scoring front rower, Joshua Iongi is all power and speed. A terrifying assignment from anywhere on the field, it is his ability to do the hard work, along with scoring tries inside the 20 metre zone which has been a feature of his play. A hard hitter, players avoid going near him, and his humble nature off the field make him an ideal team mate.

A two time winner of this award, Chase returned from a devastating injury to claim this award for 2025. Leading the Rabbitohs to the Grand Final this weekend, the ball running halfback is Premiership quality, with his scything runs, passing and kicking game all of amazing quality. A rugged defender who can open up the game at will, Rye is a brilliant tactician of the game.
