September 11th  – LEARN to LIKE LEAGUE session hosted by Fremantle Roosters
– Targeting all girls aged 11-17 years old

 

 

 

 

 

  • October 24th  – Girls Only Rugby League Gala Day at NRL WA Education & Training Centre Thomas Oval, Medina
    – Under 6, Under 8, Under 10 & Under 12’s
    – Club Team nominations submitted to NRL WA Competitions & Games Coordinator Caleb Reedy by October 12th
  • October 24th – 2020 Danielle Parker Cup Competition continuation at NRL WA Education & Training Centre Thomas Oval, Medina
    – Two rounds remaining to be played
    – NEW Under 15 Girls Competition (Fusion, Pride & Dolphins)
    – NEW under 17 Girls Academy Selected for 6 week program

NRL WA will be advertising for NRL Accredited Coaches, Sports Trainers, LeagueSafe and Team Managers for the NEW Under 15 Girls Competition.
The under 15 Girls Competition may only be 9 a side initially based on level of player interest, however this competition will now be included in the NRL WA Junior Representative Competitions

 

 

  • October 31st – 2020 Danielle Parker Cup Competition continuation
    – Final round venue TBC
    – NEW Under 15 Girls competition
  • November 7th – NEW NRL WA Junior Girls Academy & Development Programs at NRL WA Education & Training Centre Thomas Oval, Medina
    – Program content created by NRL Elite Female Pathways Manager & Australian Jillaroos Assistant Coach Jamie Feeney
    – Program facilitated by NRL WA State Women’s Rugby League Head Coaches Brad Costello and Daniel Manning
    – All Players selected from Danielle Parker Cup & New Under 15 Competition
    – 6 week schedule on Saturdays ending December 12th
    – Under 17’s Academy Squad 8.00am – 11.00am
    – Under 15’s Development Squad 11.00am – 2.00pm

 

 

 

NRL WA will be advertising for Academy & Development Program NRL Accredited Coaches, Strength & Conditioning Coaches, Sports Trainers & Dietitian

 

2021 Perth Junior League Proposal

  • Under 15 Girls playing on Sundays
  • Under 17 Girls playing on Friday nights as part of the All Flags Signs & Banners NRL WA Women’s Rugby League Premiership
  • Both competitions will be 9 a side on a modified field.
  • 9 a side initially based on registered players with the long term aim to convert to 13 a side once again based on level of registrations.

 

**Please Note – At this stage there is no confirmed detail in relation to 2021 Senior Women’s rugby league pathways, We do hope to provide another update of this by the end of October.
