COACHES CORNER – Kalamunda Bulldogs

Kalamunda Bulldogs Head Coach – Bruce Andersen

The Bulldogs Club has been doing it tough lately with no clubrooms, but we now have the use of Morrison Reserve for training and playing will now stand us in good stead.

We now have only to concentrate on first grade (as Willagee filling in for reserve grade and Ellenbrook filing in for third grade respectfully) will make the transition up to first grade a little easier.

It will however make for a challenging time especially with little pre-season preparation!

Coaching the Bulldogs will take some time with setting combinations but after a successful season in tier 2 last year may trans-send into this season. We have some good hardened players that look like developing further in first grade.

Our main goal this year is to re-establish the bulldogs back into a consistent first grade side and club, and to provide some structure going forward.

With the club getting a club house next season (we have applied for the hockey pavilion at Hartfield Park when hockey move into their new premises next season) we will continue to be a force into the future.

The late notice of an early season start may have caused some problems however all clubs will be on the same fitness level so will be looking forward to the season opener.
