Don’t Stay On The Sideline

A message from NRL WA General Manager Mr. John Sackson

In  sad light of the tragic loss of one of our young players this week , may I take this opportunity to remind all NRL WA affiliated clubs & associations of the importance of the learnings from the State of Mind programs that most of you have undertaken over the past two years.

As the 2020 season now starts to ramp up and there is more activity within your respective club communities , please be as vigilant as possible in relation to this extremely important issue that is all too prevalent in today’s society.

The attached fact sheets as provided by Headspace WA can be an extremely helpful resource so I encourage you to share with your coaches, trainers, parents, committee members and others where appropriate.

Thank you all for your understanding and cooperation.

Looking out for each other is important , whether it is on or off the field…so please ask the question “Are you ok” ?

John Sackson
