Fancy becoming a Referee – expressions of interest required.WARL_3C_Flat Pos

The WA Rugby League Referees Association is looking for expressions of interest in becoming a referee so that a course can be delivered before seasons end. Several have already been received but a minimum number is required to carry out the course.

The minimum age for a referee is 14 years and we have seen an increase in our young players taking to the whistle for mini/mod League games before playing in their own age group. This has improved their knowledge of the game and also helped Mum and Dad pay for their registration fees.

Previous experience is not required and the WA Rugby League will pay for the cost of the course. You would be required to complete an online course and attend a 3 hour assessment with Martin Weekes.

Expressions of interest should be sent to Ed Easter via email eeaster@nrl.com.au or ring the office at 08 9228 9275
