Stand-in coach Matthew Doeg would have been pleased with his charges after a 54-24 win at Franklin Offshore Sporting Complex.
Beach took the game right from the start as they steamrolled the Sharks defence to streak away to a 30-0 lead in as many minutes.
Despite the blowout, the home side rallied and centre Ian Wood managed to power over the line and cross to get the Sharks on the board with seven minutes to play.
Reece Potter and Andrew Jeffrey also crossed just before the half time siren to give the Sharks a glimmer of hope in the second half.
The Sharks definitely started the second half the more spritely of the two sides, and the fight back was on when Moses Tuivoavoa cross on the left hand side to get them back within two converted tries.
North Beach however would put the result beyond doubt with four unanswered tries, all of which involving man of the match John Taithua, before Ryan Wilson crossed for a late consolation with three minutes left in the game.
