Kimberley RL Presentation Night

By Dick Pastfield

Kimberley RLThe Kimberley Rugby League Association recently held its presentation night marking its fourth year of competition in Kununurra.  Though limited by a small population and large distances between towns the two team association was able to play twelve competition games including a Grand Final and three representative games including the annual game against the Broome Luggers for the Kimberley Cup.  The Broome game is probably one of the longest road trips undertaken by teams with over 2000 kilometres return travelled in a weekend for a game.

The night saw the Grand Final winning team Kununurra Thunder received its premiership medallions and the following players from their respective teams receive awards –
