On Wednesday afternoon the WA Reds development unit working with the North Queensland Cowboys and St George Illawara Dragons delivered a Rugby League skills clinic to 300 primary school children at nib Stadium. The One Community ‘Eat well, Stay well, Play well’ program was delivered to all students by Jonathan Thurstan and Cory Patterson of the North Qld Cowboys. The 37 oC heat did little to dampen the spirits of the Rugby League hungry students. In all 26 NRL Players attended from both the Cowboys and the Dragons, both sets of players were outstanding ambassador’s for Rugby League giving their time to the Perth students.

The WARL would like to thank both clubs and the NRL One Community department for their continued support of Rugby League in Western Australia.
