NRL WA Perth Competitions Kick Off

The NRL WA  Fuel to Go & Play  Perth Senior & Junior Competitions kick off this week with some great spectacles across all games and formats.
If you missed your rugby league in WA, please get down to the season openers!

On Friday night, our All Flags Signs & Banners Women’s Premiership kicks off, with a heavyweights Joondalup Giants hosting the Kalamunda Bulldogs in a single fixture. While at South Perth, we have a feast of rugby league with title holders the Ellenbrook Rabbitohs taking on the new kids in town the Rockingham Sharks. The South Perth Willagee combination club also kick their season off against the other new crew, the North Beach Sea Eagles.

On Saturday, we have a grand final replay, in the Joondalup Giants hosting the Rockingham Sharks, which will be broadcast around the world on NITV. As a season opener, it won’t be a heart stopping 106 minutes, but it should still be an amazing contest. And we get a look at the South Perth Lions taking on the Fremantle Roosters in our other big contest, with both teams probably looking a little different these days.

And on Sunday, the Perth Junior League kicks off with 11 clubs taking to the field across 5 different venues across Perth. So if your out and about in Heathridge for a coffee, going up to Eglinton for a drive, checking some art out in Fremantle, visiting the hills out in Forrestfield or thinking about reliving last Saturdays ANZAC Challenge at Willagee, head down and watch some Junior Rugby League.
