Waqa Blake

Another week, another try for Waqa Blake.

The former Pirate now has four tries in as many games to start the 2018 NRL season after touching down in the 56th minute of Penrith’s 33-14 win over North Queensland.

Blake sits joint-second in the try-scoring rankings and will look to climb up the list when the Panthers face the Eels on Sunday.

Adam Quinlan

It was a difficult Easter for Adam Quinlan and Hull KR, as they fell to a heavy 44-6 loss to the Wigan Warriors last weekend.

Quinlan, a former Pirate, stared at fullback but was helpless in stopping his side falling to defeat.

The 25-year-old will be back on the paddock this weekend as Hull host Widnes Vikings on Saturday.

Bryson Goodwin

Illness kept Goodwin on the sidelines this week, as he missed Warrington’s weather-affected 18-6 win over Castleford.

The former South Perth Lion is expected to return to the fold for the Wolves’ trip to Salford on Saturday.

Kalyn Ponga

The Port Hedland-born fullback kicked two conversions in the Newcastle Knights’ 30-12 loss to the table-topping St George Illawarra Dragons.

The 19-year-old ran for a team-high 170 metres to go along with eight tackle busts and a line break as he did his best to crack the Dragons’ defence.

Ponga will be back in action as the Knights look to return to winning ways against the Brisbane Broncos on Saturday.
