Pirates/WA Alumni Wrap 27/04/18

Adam Quinlan

What a game Adam Quinlan had over the weekend. The former Pirate started at fullback and scored a hat-trick in a 32-0 win over Oldham RLFC in the Challenge Cup.

Bryson Goodwin

We didn’t think it would be possible, but Goodwin actually topped Quinlan’s performance with a hat-trick and four goals to finish with a staggering 20 points in the Warrington Wolves’ 54-6 win over the Bradford Bulls in the Challenge Cup.

Kalyn Ponga

Ponga endured a rough night on the kicking tee, going 1/5 in Newcastle Knights’ 22-20 win over the West Tigers.

“I’ll get back to practice this week. I’ve got to be better, that’s what it comes down to. I hold a higher expectation on myself at training. I’m filthy,” he said.

Jordan Pereira

Pereira got himself on the scoresheet with a try for the St George Illawarra Dragons ISP team over the weekend but failed to prevent them from falling to a 37-24 loss to the New Zealand Warriors.

Josh Rogers

The former North Beach Sea Eagles halfback is starting to become a really important player for the Burleigh Bears in the Queensland Intrust Super Cup. Rogers slotted 4/5 conversion attempts to guide his side to a 28-16 win over the Wynnum Manly Seagulls last weekend.
