SPORTS TRAINERS (First Responder & Level 1)

Our Representatives Regions are now seeking Sports Trainers for their teams and soon all our Clubs will be recruiting for the 2021 season

Our Sports Trainers are very important. They look after our first aid needs for each player at training and on game days.

We welcome those that have done it before or those that are new to the role to apply. Training is provided.

Sports Trainers are required to:

  • Be at all games to provide first aid for the team
  • Attend required training
  • Attend any club events that may happen to up skill you in your role
  • Complete required paperwork and submit to head sports trainer
  • Assist coach (where required) to run warm up and warm down sessions if qualified
  • Must hold a Working With Children Card
  • Commit to whole season

 

Please note that all teams are required to have a Sports Trainer. No game can start unless there is a sports trainer present.

NRL WA covers all related training & game day costs for a sports trainer

This year you will be looked after by our appointed Head Sports Trainer Barry Nicholls.

We need to fill these positions ASAP as courses are already open and we would like to get you in one of these courses before they fill up.

The next local course is a Level One and will be held at the NRL WA Training & Education Centre located at Thomas Oval Medina on the 13th & 14th of February
