State Coaches, Managers and Trainers Sought

WA Rugby League is seeking applicants for the positions of Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Manager and Trainer for each of the State’s age groups that compete as part of the Australian schoolboys competition.

The age groups currently seeking these positions are the Under 12’s, Under 15’s and Under 18’s.

The role requirements for the positions are as follows:

  • Head Coach – The Head Coach is required to be available for selections, training sessions and games and to take a leadership role in respect to those events.
  • Assistant Coach – The Assistant Coach is required to assist the head coach and supplement the head coach in a leadership role.
  • Manager – The Manager manages the players, their funding and accommodation, liaise with the tournament directors, as well as organise teamsheets and any paperwork provided.
  • Trainer – The Trainer manages the welfare and medical requirements of the players both on and off the field and specialise in injury management. Must hold an ARL Level 2 trainer certification or equivalent. 

All applicants are welcome, previous or current teaching experience recommended but not required.
