Reserve Grade

Rockingham and Fremantle are sitting 5th and 6th respectively with only 1 point between them. They meet at Ken Allen Field at 2.00pm. To make things a little more interesting Joondalup, who are in 4th position (and taking on ladder leaders North Beach) are only 1 point a head of Rockingham. Depending how results fall, we could see some position changes.

Third Grade

First place North Beach take on Third placed Joondalup at Charles Riley Reserve at 11.30am. A win for North Beach will set them up for an almost certain top 2 finish, however Joondalup will be hungry for victory because a loss will see them drop a position on the ladder to 4th as Willagee have the BYE and a guaranteed 2 points.

Under 18’s

The battle of 3rd v 4th is on at Ken Allen Field at 12.40pm, Rockingham and Fremantle respectively. Rockingham can consolidate a spot in the top 4 while Fremantle will be looking to keep a 3 point buffer ahead of 5th placed Joondalup. If the Roosters can’t take down the Sharks, and the Giants beat the Sea Eagles, all of a sudden Joondalup are only 1 point behind.

Women’s Leaguetag

The Bulldogs are only 1 point out of the Top 4 as they travel to Bunbury to take on the Warriors, kick off at 12 noon. Although South West are in last position, I wouldn’t write them off at home in front of their loyal fans. Rockingham and Willagee both have tough matches this weekend, if they don’t get up and the Dogs do, they will leap into the top 4. Get to the grounds early for some great Leaguetag matches this Saturday.

Juniors (competitive age groups) – Round 16 Sunday 3rd August 2014

U16’s

Rockingham are at home to Fremantle this Sunday at 1.45pm in the top of the table clash. With the 2 sides likely to meet in the Major Semi Final in a few weeks, a victory here will be a huge confidence booster going into that match.

Girls Leaguetag

South West have a mathematical chance on getting into the finals this year. However it all starts this Sunday in Bunbury at 12.30pm in their must win match against the Lions who sit one place above them on the ladder.

U14’s

North Beach Host Joondalup as 3rd v 4th go head to head at 12.20pm. Joondalup must win to stay in the Top 4, otherwise Kalamunda (who have the BYE) will gladly take their spot.

U13’s

Can Willagee cause the upset of the year against the undefeated South Perth at 2.10pm in Bunbury. A win could see them jump of the bottom of the ladder and overtake Mandurah who will be aiming to prevent this with a win against a tough Kalamunda outfit at 12.20pm in Mandurah.

U12’s

Another top of the table clash in the 12’s as Rockingham are at home against Fremantle at 11.55am. Whoever wins this match will be on top of the ladder with two more rounds to play.

U11’s

At home, Mandurah take on Kalamunda at 9.50am on Sunday. Kalamunda are new to the competition and only 7 rounds in but have been dangerous, the Storm however will be eager to get the 2 points and prevent Joondalup (who have the BYE) overtaking them in the top 4.
