NRL WA would like to congratulate Juraea Turner on her performance for the Australian Prime Minister’s XIII against the Papua New Guinea Orchids last weekend.

Juraea ran for 17 metres, broke two tackles, made 15 tackles and completed 37 passes during 41 minutes of game-time as Australia ran out 40-4 winners.

Playing at hooker, Juraea also made five metres post-contact and earned fantasy team owners 18 points for her performance.

The Representative call-up capped off a strong 2018 season for the 18-year-old and came just weeks after she led the Ellenbrook Rabbitohs to the All Flags Signs & Banners Women’s Premiership with a Player of the Match performance in the Grand Final against the Joondalup Giants.

Juraea will now turn her focus towards school, where she is currently completing Year 12 at Ellenbrook Secondary College.
