NRL WA is very pleased to advise that  the NRL has approved the playing of an Under 23 Women’s NRL WA Rep team v Under 23 Women’s NRL NT Rep team.

This  Interstate Challenge match will be played  prior to the State of Origin 2 Game at Perth Stadium on Sunday 23 June 2019.

Preparation for this Inaugural Women’s Interstate Challenge  Rugby League game will commence immediately with Staff Appointments to be confirmed as well as the player selection process that will involve eligible  players currently training in the NRL WA State Senior Women’s Squad, competing in the 2019 Danielle Parker Cup and  players registered with NRL WA Clubs and playing in the All Flags Signs & Banners Premiership.

Player Eligibility

  • Players MUST have turned 17 years of age before the 23rd of June 2019
  • Players Can Not be turning 24 years of age or older in 2019

The Game details will be as follows;

  • 30 mins each way
  • 10 mins Half time
  • Team Squads – Total 24 (6 Officials and 18  Players)

NRL WA would like to acknowledge the support for this game from the NRL as once again it highlights the opportunities for Females to participate in our great game at all levels.
