Vale Adam Shipway

WARL LOGO OCT12The Western Australian Rugby League would like to extend their condolences to the family of Adam Shipway, who passed away over the weekend, at the young age of 28.

Adam made an extensive contribution to Rugby League in WA. He moved though the ranks of  our local competition, playing for Joondalup, North Beach and Kalamunda. Adam also went on to play for WARL state U15s and U18s.

Adam toured Great Britan, South Africa and Queensland as a School Boy, participating in Aranmore’s specailist program. He was a strong and fearce Front Rower that was passionate about Rugby League. 

This weekend North Beach Sea Eagles will be wearing black arm bands in rememberance of Adam.  He was a much loved Rugby League identity both on and off the field. Adam will be missed greatly by Family, Friends and the WARL Comunnity.

Adams funeral will be held on Tuesday the 9th of April at Pinnaroo Cemetery at 11am.
