Pirates Coaching & Support Staff


NRL WA are seeking expressions of interest from Coaches, Sports Trainers and Team Managers for the 2018 Cash Converters West Coast Pirates u19’s and u18’s Representative Programs . NRL WA is focused on building a strong Coaching and Football Management group for the future and are committed to individuals that are looking to play a role in developing local talent and the game of Rugby League in Western Australia.

NRL WA 2020 Pathways Vision

  • 2018 – West Coast Pirates involvement in Current NSW RL SG Ball Under 18’s Competition
  • 2018 – NRL WA to introduce Under 19’s Development program
  • 2019 – Proposed entry into NSW RL Under 20’s Competition
  • 2020 – 2022   Proposed entry into NSW Intrust Super Premiership.

Please see below for minimum qualification requirements:

  • Head Coach – Level 2 (Senior Club Coach)
  • Assistant Coach – Level 1 (International Games Coach)
  • Strength & Conditioning Coach – Minimum Level 1 Strength & Conditioning Accreditation
  • Sports Trainer – Level 2 / Level 1
  • Team ManagerRelevant experience at similar level including  Reps/ Development


It is expected that all interested applicants must be willing to commence official duties in mid-October 2017 and be available for all Team commitments. Remuneration can be discussed on selected roles.
