WA Rugby League would like to congratulate the successful members of the West Coast Pirates Development Squad
The Development Squad will consist of 24 of the best players from both Under 12s and Under 13s in 2013.
They will be required to attend five training sessions that will focus on the core skills of Rugby League.
This will help prepare them for the coming season and allow them to experience the intensity of training at a representative level.
Ed Easter will be the Head Coach and will be assisted by NRL Game Development Officers Wayde Kelly and Gus Marshall.
THURSDAY 30TH JANUARY – CURTIN STADIUM, BENTLEY. 10AM – 2PM
FRIDAY 31ST JANUARY – CURTIN STADIUM, BENTLEY. 10AM – 2PM
For those selected, you will be required to bring Rugby League training gear to each session, including runners and boots.
If you wear a mouth-guard/head gear/shoulder pads when you play, please bring these as well as there will be full contact during training sessions.
You should also bring your own water bottle.
Lunch will be provided at the first two sessions at Curtin Stadium and the remaining three sessions will be confirmed when the fixture list for our Pirates SG Ball competition are released.
The Development Squad will train alongside the West Coast Pirates Academy for the third session.
The final two sessions will take place before West Coast Pirates SG Ball home games so the boys have an opportunity to watch WA’s finest juniors playing in the world’s best Under 18s Rugby League competition.
Please RSVP your participation in the West Coast Pirates Development Squad by contacting the WA Rugby League office on 08 9228 9275 or firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are unable to be a part of the Development Squad please let Ed know.
Once again, congratulations on making the West Coast Pirates Development Squad.
